Nebraska. She was convicted of "escaping from custody" after she broke out of Nebraska's Reformatory for Women. She was serving time for breaking and entering. With the aid of an unnamed man, she fled Nebraska in an automobile but was later captured in Wyoming. After her arrest she requested to go to the Nebraska State Prison instead of returning to the woman's reformatory.
